HOME JOB OPENINGS REGISTRATION FORM Job Openings SHE Professional (San Diego area) for this
100+ employee chemical manufacturer. This position is responsible for the
management of all health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) policies,
procedures, and training. This will
include updating, maintaining and applying EHS policies in accordance with
local, State and Federal regulations (OSHA, Cal-OSHA, San Diego County, EPS,
DTSC, Regional Water Quality Control Board, etc; conducting HSSE training for
all levels of employees; answering questions and provide guidance to all
employees regarding regulations and company policy; conducting
injury/incident investigations and manage Worker’s Compensation program;
Coordinating ERT; developing and applying ergonomic standards, training,
workstation assessments and corrective action; managing site HSSE budget;
assisting in haz waste collection and handling activities. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years
of HSE experience from a chemical, pharmaceutical or biotech plant, a minimum
of 3 years working knowledge of California regulations, and a BS degree in a
scientific discipline. Relocation
assistance is available. Several
